The Shaman's Vision
The Shaman’s Vision is an introductory workshop, exploring contemporary and classic shamanism where we will be using ecstatic shamanic techniques to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and bring more healing into our everyday lives. The course is a weekend residential workshop set in the beautiful Townley Hall , a magnificent Georgian mansion built just over 200 years ago on a hilltop setting. Today it is surrounded by 60 acres of rolling parkland overlooking the Boyne Valley, very close to the site of the famous battle. The location is strikingly beautiful and peaceful.The House is an architectural jewel.It is renowned for its exquisite interior, wonderful proportions, the quality of the materials and craftsmanship used in its construction and, in particular, its magnificent staircase.
This basic workshop will introduce participants to the dynamic and healing methods of shamanism from Celtic, Native American, Bon (Tibet) & Siberian traditions. We will be working with the Drum & Rattle to connect with our power animals and spirit guides, Trance dancing and learning how to connect deeper with the energies in nature.
Here are some of the methods we will be using:
Journeying to beat of the drum, Mandala of healing, Trance dancing, Spirit Boat, Meditation in nature, Ritual of protection.
Dates are the 27th to 29th of July 2012 The cost of this workshop is on a donations bases, so as to make this work accessible to everyone , what is suggested, Is one donates from what they can afford & help / befit they have gained. To cover costs a suggested donation for this event is €250.00
